Navigate Options


You can set the Master Link Action, Action Buttons, and Link to Field settings.

 

Currently, Overcast offers the following navigation types.

Master Link Action

The Master Link Action button is located in a different location depending on the component type, as shown in the image below for the Widget.

 

 

To configure the settings, click on the button below to display the configuration dialog.

 

Master Link Action supports the following Types.

Action Buttons

 

Action Buttons are a group of buttons that appear mainly in the upper right corner of the component. Multiple buttons can be placed.

 

 

  1. Drag and drop to reorder
  2. Delete with the delete icon
  3. Open the edit dialog with the gear icon ( The changes to the buttons are the same as for the Master Link Action)
  4. Add Action Button to create a new Action Button ( The changes to the buttons are the same as for the Master Link Action)

Field Link

By clicking on a field in the table view, you can navigate to another overcast component, move to another record in Salesforce, or display a dialog.

Configure it by clicking on Navigation options.

  1. Page Reference Setting
    1. Record Type : Currenty, can choose Record Page only.
    2. Add Attribute : Currently not used

Navigation Options

Specify the Navigation Type.

Target Selection

Select the Target Component Type and Component Definition.

Parameter Mapping

Map the data of the current Overcast component to the parameters of the target Overcast component.

* To determine which record to go to, set the Lookup setting in the Display & Format Settings of the field, and use the data from the backend to go to the searched record.

 

 

 

Detail Dialog

Set which sections are to be displayed as details, the mapping of key data to be used for this, and the order of the fields in the details display.

* Only the fields whose display in detail view is checked for each field will be displayed.

 

Related Data Section

Select the data in the section related to the detailed data. Set the section to be displayed and the mapping for search. Each section will be displayed as a tab in "Details" and the tabs can be sorted here.

 

 

Dialog Setting

Set the size and title of the Dialog. Title can be set to a static or dynamic label. Custom labels are also supported.

 

 

 

Salesforce Flow

Salesforce Flow supported by Overcast Component

Target Selection

Enter the Target Salesforce Flow (API Name)

 

 

Parameter Mapping

Map the data of the current Overcast component to the parameters of the Salesforce Flow Input variables.

Dialog Setting

Set the size and title of the Dialog.
