Log levels

View the Detailed Log

In the Monitoring page, you can select the ID of the Scenario Execution to access the Detailed Log.

 

 Once the ID is selected, you can see the logs of selected scenario execution under Detailed Log. 

 

Set the Log Levels

The log level can be configured for each scenario. Select the desired Log Level under Advanced Settings before saving and activating the scenario. This can be changed on the Edit page of the scenario when re-running the scenario.

 

If Global Default is selected, the Log Level will run based on the Log Level set on the Settings tab.

 

On the Setting tab, you can select the log level, which will be the default value on all Integration Scenarios, unless otherwise specified on that particular Integration Scenario.

 

Log Level Values

With Overcast, logs are stored in custom objects that consume your data storage. We recommend INFO level under normal conditions.

 

Log Level Option Details Description
NONE None No Log
FATAL Fatal Error only FATAL logs
ERROR Error ERROR (ordinary errors) logs in addition to FATAL logs
WARN Warning WARN logs in addition to ERROR logs
INFO Information INFO (ordinary information) logs in addition to WARN. For a number of records forwarded by runtime and number of bytes, this level is required.
DEBUG Debug DEBUG (detailed information) in addition to INFO. Please make sure not to exceed the data volume limit set by Force.com.
VERBOSE All All of the logs. Please make sure not to exceed the data volume limit set by Force.com.
