SAP Delivery History

Display delivery history and drill-into order details & related document flows for an Account

The SAP Delivery History component retrieves a list of delivery documents for a given Account and timeframe in real-time from SAP. When a delivery is opened in the detail view, more information is retrieved from SAP to show delivery details. When activated, related documents such as sales orders can be navigated to from the referenced document field in the item detail. The Overcast Component consists of three Lightning Components: the widget overview, the list and the detail view. The default time-period can be set and the fields to be displayed can be configured. The user can adjust the time-period as well and look at user-specified time horizons.

 

Installation

  1. Navigate to the Component Library in the Overcast App. Filter by SAP-integrated Customer 360 under Collections.

  2. Search for Activate SAP Delivery History component and activate it by selecting the blue Activate button. (Once activated, the panel will appear green).

  3. Choose the connection string for your Backend System and click Activate.

  4. Navigate to the Monitoring Tab and check the Status. A green circle indicates that the component is successfully activated and is ready to use. If you see a red circle indicating an error, navigate to the ID (eg. 00001) and see Detailed Log for information regarding error. Display the component 

SAP Delivery History component can be displayed on Salesforce Account record page. 
  1. Go to Account record page. Navigate to Setup and select Edit Page to open Lightning Application Builder.

  2. From Left pane, drag and drop the SAP Delivery Widget component found onto the page. Click Save and then Activate.

  3. If this is your first component to install, you will see Page Layout Activation page. Select Assign as Organization Default. Click Next and then Save. The component is now displayed on the Account record page.

 

Functionality

  1. Go back to the Account record page. SAP Delivery History is now displayed.

  2. Click the funnel on the right top to change the date range. You can also customize the Start Date and End Date. Select Update after selecting the date range.

  3. List View will be displayed by selecting View All.

  4. Detail View will be displayed by clicking the sales order that you wish to see the details of.
