Whitelist a Backend System

Whitelisting is not required when using the Overcast Secure Agent to connect to your backend systems.

For security purposes, the Overcast server maintains a whitelist of allowed organizations and the systems they can connect to. Before you are able to use any backend system, your Salesforce organization ID and connection strings must be added to the Overcast whitelist.

Please Contact Vigience and provide the following information

Salesforce Organization ID
Connection type
Connection parameters

Do not send usernames or passwords for your systems.

The followings are the required connection parameters for each connection type.

Only the domain name and the port are necessary, therefore only one whitelisting per system is required!
